How SwimFresh Works SwimFresh uses sodium ascorbate, a gentle, buffered form of vitamin C, to help neutralise chlorine on contact. When vitamin C meets active chlorine, it triggers a simple chemical reaction that converts the reactive chlorine into a much less reactive chloride form. The vitamin C is used up during this process, helping to reduce the amount of active chlorine left in contact with the skin and hair. Applied before swimming, SwimFresh distributes vitamin C across the skin and hair, ready to react when they come into contact with chlorinated pool water. It does not create a heavy or waterproof coating. Instead, it works through direct contact with chlorine. Ferulic acid and rosemary leaf extract provide additional antioxidant support within the formula, while distilled water keeps the spray light, simple and easy to apply. SwimFresh can also be used after swimming to help neutralise residual chlorine remaining on the surface of the skin and hair.
Apply SwimFresh™ evenly to skin and hair before swimming. Massage in and allow 15 minutes before entering the pool.
